It's been aaaaages since I updated!!!!

So here are a few of the things I have been up to..... I have been to Jackie's workshop on Sunday and made some fab cards - just have a look at Jackie's workshop blog to see the cards we made they are fab!! I can't wait for the next one - (May 1st in case you are interested).

I also made some wedding invitations for a work colleague's future daughter in law. I have some photos below. I really enjoyed making them but was glad to hand them over - I was terrified the kids would spill juice or get their mucky paws on them before they were handed over!!

Hi there again - I have entered another challenge - Elisa's Mami Doodles Challenge - this time it's about 'In The Garden' - using ribbon.

This is what I came up with

Hi there.

I decided to enter a Mami Doodles challenge. I don't normally have the time but have been off work all this week sick (eye infection). The laundry is all done, house clean and eyes a slight bit better so I set to work last night and came up with this...

Elisa has some lovely digital stamps. I must use the rest of this week to make some more cards using her images.

Thanks for looking.

My gosh it has been ages - I should update this blog more often. Well today is Easter Sunday and the kids had a ball - they went to see their nana and then off to the gym for a swim and then home to a roast dinner. And of course chocolate eggs thereafter!!!

Since I last posted I now have a new baby niece - Ava - she is a dote... I had her overnight a few weeks ago and it reminds me how much hard work babies are!!! But at the same time sooooo worth it.
I made some easter nests for the kids last night - thanks to Jan on the Craft Supplies forum - for the life of me I can't post a link to the photos - I must work on that one - I thought once they were in photo bucket then i could add them to blogs too.. I must get this sorted....Anyhow - here is a link to the discussion on Craft Supplies which gave me the idea. http://www.craftsupplies.ie/shop/chat/viewtopic.php?t=21443

I have been to the last two of Jackie Mooney's card making work shops http://jackiesworkshops.blogspot.com/ and made some amazing cards. I will take some photos of recent cards and post them up over the next day or too.

I am working on some albums/booklets for our sixth class kids to remind them of their time in school. I have until June to get them sorted but thought I would start them when I had some time over Easter. Again, I will get some photos sorted soon. Thats all for now...

The kids had a whale of of a time over the last few days with the snow. It is the first time they ever managed to make a snow man!!! And what a job they did too.... Well done all. I love the snow. And I especially like the fact the schools (and as I work in a school, my job) are closed until Thursday. It has thawed out today so all the snow has melted so I wish for a bit of snow to make more snowmen and have it thawed nicely before I need to be on the road again!!! It's Sunday night and no snow here yet???
Happy New Year to you all. All the best for 2010!

I have been busy but managed to get some crafting in and thought it was about time I updated this blog!

I bought a cheap mirror frame from Ikea and altered it a bit and this is how it turned out. The colour scheme goes great in our bedroom. I love it.

I have just made a few cards and took some photos to share. So have a look below.

That's all from me for now. I promise my New Year resolution is to craft and blog more often. Hope you are all happy and well. Bye for now.

My birthday presents!

My husband has come up trumps this year with my birthday present - he got in touch with Annamarie from http://www.thescrapbookstore.ie/ to buy all this stash above!!

He also bought me my favourite perfume Grapefruit by Jo Malone - I love it. I did drop the hint about the perfume but the scrapbook stuff was all his idea - well done Frankie!!
